A makerspace is a place where people can gather to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge.

At The Making Place, we are creating a community hub that brings people together around creativity, skill-sharing, and connection. We serve the Flathead Valley by offering a communal workspace (like a gym, but for art and making), creative workshops & events, and a tool library.

Since our beginning, The Making Place has:
• Hosted workshops, social gatherings, and free community events
• Spotlighted local artists through our Maker of the Month program
• Opened our Tool Library and Membership program
• Moved into our first location above Uptown Hearth in Columbia Falls

Every class attended, every donation made, and every partnership formed helps us grow into a stronger community hub. With continued support, The Making Place is becoming not just a project, but a lasting resource for creativity, learning, and connection in the Flathead Valley.
